Calls for Art 2024

We welcome your submissions to the following shows throughout the year. Pieces are due at OAC the weekend before show opens. When ready, registration forms will be added online, or simply fill one out when you drop off your work. Some shows, such as the Juried Show, will have different requirements or entry fees, which will be updated as information is available. Work will be reviewed upon submission, and must be exhibit-ready. See show application forms for specific details of entry and participation.

Artists are welcome to apply for a FEATURED ARTIST spot in our North Hall at any point during the year, when space is available.  Contact Julie White Pierce at gallery@oliverart.org for more information. To propose an exhibition in our Fisher Room Gallery or our Beck and Borwell Galleries, please use this form.

OAC Winter Member Show 2024

Featuring work by current Oliver Art Center members in all media, this exhibit will run from December 6, 2024 – January 3, 2025 in the Beck and Borwell galleries and South Exhibit Hall. Use the link below to submit your registration details for up to two pieces of artwork. Artists will receive a 70% commission on all works sold in this exhibition.

Entry Fees: Free to current OAC members

Drop Off: December 1, 2024, from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm.  Current members are those who have paid membership dues within the last twelve months.

Exhibition Closes: January 3, 2025 at 4:00 pm

Pick Up of unsold artwork: January 4, 2025 from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Winter Market at OAC

The Winter Market at OAC will feature small works of art, fine crafts, and gift-appropriate items for sale in our Fisher Room holiday display November 9th, 2024 through the end of the year.

Participating artists will receive our standard Gift Shop commission of 60% of retail.  You will set your retail price.

Coastal Caravan 2025:

We’re excited to announce that the 3rd Annual Coastal Caravan Art Fair will be held on Saturday, July 26th on the grounds of the Oliver Art Center.  This will be a juried fair, the goal being to present shoppers with a high-quality shopping experience featuring handmade and original works, offering our participating artists an enjoyable opportunity to sell their products. The show will begin at 10:00 am and end at 4:00 pm and is free to the public. We will promote the event on our website, on social media, via email, in print, on IPR radio, and with yard signs throughout the region.

Our booth fees remain $50,  with artists retaining 100% of their sales.

Some of the activities we have planned will help enhance the day and drive attendance:

  • Live music performances during the afternoon hours.
  • A food truck will be on site.
  • The OAC Bloody Mary bar and beer and wine tent will be back!
