11 am Qigong with Jessica Noe

Description:

Come and practice the ancient healing practice of Qigong outside on the beautiful grounds of Oliver Art Center. (inside practice also available when weather necessitates) Qigong (chee-gung) is a series of flowing and repeated movements, stretches, and breathing exercises which help to cultivate and increase the life force energy in the body. Proven studies support qigong’s ability to help prevent and cure illnesses and conditions such as arthritis, hypertension, stress, high blood pressure, diabetes, chronic pain, Parkinson's disease, and depression. Qigong works fast to improve blood circulation, restore hormonal balance, strengthen internal organs, and eliminate muscle tightness and soreness. This practice is accessible to people of all ages and all fitness levels.

Call Oliver Art Center (231)352-4151  if you'd like to sign up for multiple sessions at once.

Instructor info:

After retiring from 30+ years in the teaching profession, Jessica Noe decided to get trained to teach qigong, so she could share her passion for this practice which supports people in their wellness journeys. She has been teaching qigong for 8 years and continues to learn and grow in the practice. Her plan is to continue to study and practice qigong for the rest of her life.
