Photoshop Post-Production For Beginners - Digital Editing Workshop with Tamara Hoffbauer
Description:
In this introductory class, students will be taught a variety of tools and techniques in Photoshop to post- process or “develop” digital or scanned photos. These techniques will help students understand when and why to use Photoshop, how to process a digital image for use in print or online, how to set up an efficient workflow, and how to get the best results from their digital or scanned images. Topics will include image cleanup techniques, creating selections, use of adjustments like levels, sharpening, curves, color balance, and more. We will also discuss what formats to save images in for different uses. Students should leave the class feeling confident in their ability to apply what they have learned to their own photos and to tackle further study of Photoshop!
