NEXT Cabin Fever Artist Talk: December 6
Oliver Art Center is hosting great artist discussions, demonstrations, and presentations in conjunction with the Autumn 2013 Member Show and Invitational. These events are part of OAC’s desire to present enriching and career-bolstering events and talks for its members and the community of Frankfort.
Each talk is free to the public and begins promptly at 5:30 pm.
November 15: Jerry Gretzinger, Maple City
Jerry will discuss his monumental mixed-media map art project, some 30 years in the making. His work has been featured nationally and in ArtPrize.
November 22: Schyler Binkley, Manistee
Schyler discusses the process of wood firing he uses to produce a stunning array of ceramics and vessels.
December 6: Cherie Correll, Lake Ann
Cherie will present her paintings and edgy mixed-media works. She is a member of ISEA and a former lifelong public school art teacher.
December 20: Barbara Webb, Benzonia
Barbara presents her paintings, technique, and career.
January 3: Steve Loveless, Beulah
Steve will present his striking and innovative landscape photography.
