We can’t wait for Summer…
OAC’s Summer Art Camp will start up again in June of 2025. This year we are pleased to announce the addition of a separate camp for younger children aged 5 and up. Our diverse group of Camp instructors are experienced artists and art educators who will help kiddos of any experience level spark their creativity!

Group 1 – Art Explorers (Ages 9-13)
Weekly, Mondays – Thursdays from 10:30 am to Noon. Each day will bring a new creative project to help students develop a new skill, learn to use art a new tool, or hone a creative technique.
Group 2 – Young Artists (Ages 5-9 – choose the best group for your 9-year-old based on their comfort level)
Bi-weekly, Mondays – Thursdays from 10:30 am to Noon. Each day we will explore building blocks of creativity such as color, shape, and texture via engaging projects suited to those just starting on their artistic journey.
Schedule:
Camp days begin June 23rd and end August 14th. Group 1 meets every week. Group 2 sessions are the weeks of June 23rd, July 7th, July 21st, and August 4th.

Scholarships are available! Contact us to inquire and we will be happy to discuss options.
Cancellation Policy: Occasionally classes must be canceled if minimum enrollment is not met for our visiting instructors, there is a health or weather emergency or other unforeseen events. We understand that this may be a disappointment to our students, and we’ll do our best to inform you as early as we can of the cancellation.
If Oliver Art Center cancels a class, we’ll offer a full refund or credit towards another course, at your discretion.
If a student must withdraw from a class a full refund less $10 processing fee will be issued if cancellation is received at least one week before the first day of class. After that time, no refunds are provided. If you sign up for a multi-day but do not attend the entire course, we will not pro-rate the class as we need to pay our guest instructors for your spot in the class. Thank you for your understanding.

Youth Clay Camp returns to OAC in 2025!
Carrie Elizabeth Ming is a studio potter with a BFA in Ceramics from the Oregon College of Art and Craft. After running Fishtown Pottery for 5 years and teaching many families, she spent a decade teaching summer clay camps in Leland. Having moved to beautiful Benzie County, she is thrilled to have discovered the Oliver Art Center in Frankfort, Michigan, with a stunning view of Lake Michigan. Carrie encourages families to “come play with clay down by the bay!”
